Columbia Academy offers more than 15 clubs. Teacher-led clubs include Debate, Chess, Math Competition, Guitar, Volunteer, Charity, After-School Tutoring, Mental Wellness and Meditation. Student-led clubs include Adopt-a-Block, Basketball, Outdoor Activity, Environmental, Peer Support, Dance, Drama and Music. Offerings vary by term.

No. Students do not need to be experienced athletes, performers or club leaders. The school encourages every student to bring curiosity and try something new.
Field trips and activities have included BC Place, CBC Television Station, the Vancouver Art Gallery, Bike in the Park, ice skating at Robson Square, ski trips and boat cruises. Destinations change each year.
Annual events include the Terry Fox Run, International Culture Day, New Year Dumpling Making, a Christmas potluck celebration and Sports Day. Events vary each year.
