Charity

Columbia Academy is privileged to be able to support local, national and international charities through fundraising events. The school has a long-standing tradition of involving students in various charitable activities to nurture their sense of social responsibility and philanthropy. Over the years, we have initiated numerous charity projects and are humbled by the gratitude received. Our projects have included helping to fund the building of schools in Uganda, donations to local community charities during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to earthquake relief efforts in Turkey, fundraising for the Lytton town fire, making annual donations to the Canadian Legion’s Poppy Appeal, participating in the Terry Fox Run and providing food donations to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Through these efforts, we aim to instill in our students a deep commitment to caring for others and giving back to society. We are thrilled to be able to give back to a city, a country and a world that have give us so much.
