In my high school life in CA, I knew that hard work will pay back. In order to be admitted to my ideal university, I have been studying hard. I listened carefully in class and reviewed after class. I have won many scholarships in school, luckily I have won the book award from the University of Toronto. These are all affirmations of me. To sum up, the harder I work, the luckier I am! I hope that the younger CA students will listen carefully to the teachers and their lectures, take every exam seriously, and don’t always think about retaking a class. What else is there to add? Participating in school activities and volunteer activities. I have many good memories and gains in CA, and I have met many good friends. We encouraged and urged each other to study together, and now we are all admitted to our ideal universities. Although daily study life is very boring, the school clubs and activities add a color to this life. I have changed a lot in CA. At the beginning, I was not confident about myself and invisible during my first term. With the encouragement from teachers, I gradually became more confident. I participated in the student council election and led the tutoring club to help the students for four consecutive terms. During my time in CA, through the encouragement of my teachers, I did many things that I could not believe. I am very grateful to CA for helping me. Whether in terms of learning or character, I would like to bring my best wishes to the CA teachers, and I hope that CA will do better and better.

CA is a big family and has organized many activities to make the online classes more exciting. High school life in CA taught me how to deal with many problems in life independently, and I also learned this lesson: “No hard work, no gains.” Thank you CA for allowing me to meet more lovely friends, helping me to achieve better results, a brighter future, and letting me study abroad in Vancouver in order to reach a complete and perfect end.

Sylvia L.

CA is a high school that can help students to fulfill their dreams. Although I was only here for one year, I have become more self-reliant. Not only did I gain a lot of knowledge in my studies, but I also learned to do things in the activities organized by the school. Many activities every year have left a deep impression on me. Last Christmas, due to the pandemic, the CA teacher sent gifts to my home, and we played online games together with our classmates. All of us were immersed in the Christmas atmosphere happily. After coming to CA, I became more serious about studying. In the last year of my high school life, I did not miss any classes. Thank you very much to every teacher in CA and the classmates who helped me.

Tamara W.

2021 Graduate

Received offers from University of Toronto UTM (Studies in Communication, Culture, Information and Technology), University of Toronto UTSC (Visual and Performing Arts, Arts Management and Media), University of Alberta (Chemistry/Computer Science; Minor Chemistry), McMaster University (Business)

I have learned a lot in CA. In addition to knowledge, I have also gained good study habits. From being forced to learn, to being willing to master this knowledge, this is inseparable from the influence and encouragement of the CA teachers. In CA, I became more cheerful and willing to make more friends. I also had a good three-year high school life, gained many friends, and was admitted to my favourite university. I wish CA to get better and better so that all the younger students can get admitted to their favourite university and major! I hope that the teachers will be happy in the days to come!

Henry Z.

2021 Graduate

I learned a lot to help me for my university applications in CA, I gained self-learning abilities and adaptability. Finally, I want to say: I don’t regret joining CA!

Zihan S.

2021 Graduate

Received offers from University of Toronto UTSG (Art and Science), University of Toronto UTM (Life Science), Western University

I deeply regret meeting CA during the pandemic. Despite the fact that the courses were online, and I had no chance to meet my classmates and teachers offline, in the classroom, I felt the care and enthusiasm of the teachers, which made me more willing to communicate about the problems that I encountered. My classmates were also very happy to help me. I spent my last year as a high school student with this group of passionate people. In the days to come, I will live strongly with this beautiful memory.

Albert C.

2021 Graduate

Received offers from University of Toronto UTSG (Mathematical and Physical Sciences), University of Toronto UTM (Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics; $3000), University of Toronto UTSC (Co-op Physical and Environmental Sciences), King’s College London (Mathematics with Statistics/ Physics), University of Alberta (Statistics; Minor Mathematics; $10,000)

I learned the definition of happiness in CA. In the past, I didn’t know what happiness was. Happiness is like something that can be seen and cannot be reached. However, after I arrived in CA, the Happiness 12 class helped me find the definition of happiness and told us how to become happier. In CA, my biggest gain is that I have good, responsible teachers, and friendly classmates. The teachers have helped us to complete our studies better and have created an interesting classroom. After I came to CA, I became more communicative. I was not very good at communication before, but since I had a lot of time for communication in each class, this helped me exercise this ability. Finally, I hope that all the students will listen during the class carefully, complete the homework, take the IELTS test as early as possible, ensure that each course has a high score, and try to participate in some extracurricular activities. Thank you very much CA!

Thank you CA for giving me a good start to my studying abroad life in Canada! After coming to CA, I became more confident. I started to speak actively in class and actively communicated with teachers and classmates in English. In CA, I really experienced the ups and downs of studying abroad and learned to be independent. At the same time, I would like to thank all the teachers for caring for me, and letting me experience the warmth of this school. I wish CA a better and brighter future!

I have met many good teachers and new friends here. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, there were fewer experiences in school life. But in any case, I am very grateful to everyone in CA, to the teachers who prepared gifts for us on the holiday, and to everyone who prepared for IELTS with me. I also thank everyone who has tolerated me and cooperated with me. I also hope that everyone who has helped me has good luck, thank you CA for making me more confident, and giving me a chance to succeed.

“I have been very fulfilled and happy at CA for more than a year. I made many friends at this school, some of the most important friends in my life. These friendships not only helped my learning, but also the overall care and happiness in my life. CA made me feel the warmth of a big family, and also made me regain my enthusiasm for learning. At the same time, I also learned more knowledge at this school, and every teacher had a great teaching style.

To CA juniors, first of all, actively participate in extracurricular activities, which can make life more fulfilling and interesting. Secondly, attendance and reasonable time will all prepare for the future life in the university, it will make you more comfortable with busy work. Last but not least, be sure to know in advance the grades and documents you need to apply for the university, upload them in time to prevent missing the admission, and keep your grades good.”

“The teachers of CA helped me understand concepts and ideas from different perspectives. The school does not only focus on the effectiveness of in-class learning, but also emphasizes off-campus practical learning. Based on the opportunity of volunteers every semester, we can personally experience the importance of caring for vulnerable groups. The school’s advisor has a well-planned schedule that is both fulfilling and purposeful. Teachers often encourage us to, “do your best and your best is good enough”. With their support, they helped us to enter the ideal university! I am grateful to the CA staff for their guidance.”
