Getting accepted by the world’s top universities is not an easy journey, but it can be a fulfilling and happy one if you are committed to doing your best and never give up. 90% of our past graduates have been accepted by the top universities in the world, and you can do it too.
When you are admitted to CA, our university counselor will provide you with the most up-to-date university admission requirements every semester through seminars, in person discussions and group messages. This will make sure you are fully aware of university requirements, so that you can begin preparing for your admissions program when you are in Grade 10.
Within these admission requirements, you will see that universities not only want to see you to achieve good grades in class, but also want to see where you spend your time after school.
CA works with many local charities to provide mainstream short term and long term volunteering opportunities for our students. You will see our students helping at different events as traffic controllers, event coordinators, Christmas tree sales assistant, charity thrift store clerks, and many other roles. CA students are also busy with all kinds of fund raising events for local charities, and to support our CA school-building project in Africa.
School clubs are another way to be involved at your school outside of the classroom. CA teachers offer a variety of clubs for you, including Math Competition Club, Volunteer club, Public Speaking Club, Faith Club, Music Club, and Movie Club.
In addition, we guide our students to start and run their own clubs, including Charity Club, Tutoring Club, Ping Pong Club, Helping Club, Photography Club, Fitting Club, Basketball Club, Business Club and Drama club.
CA also offers several academic advantages to our students. We understand that some students may need a little extra help with their lessons at times, so after-school tutoring is provided to our students free of charge.
For students who want to take more challenging courses, we provide many AP courses including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Calculus, Statistics, and more. Columbia Academy is an official AP test Center and can be found on the Advanced Placement Central Ledger website(https://apcourseaudit.inflexion.org/ledger/).
School Counselors will also meet with you in person to help you discover your passion and to select the suitable majors at your dream university, so that you are well prepared for your university applications. Additionally, university application seminars are available for the students who needs help with the university application process.
