Travis Woloshyn

I have been teaching for over twelve years in international and other private schools. I have always enjoyed the smaller class sizes as they allow for more personal educational experiences for the students. I recognize the standards that students will face in the future beyond secondary school, so I have always aimed at keeping expectations high for my students with a understanding of their individual definitions of success.

My educational background includes studying English, the Arts, and Education at Langara College, Simon Fraser University, and the University of British Columbia. I am also an active actor and creator in film and local arts productions and events. These experiences, along with my strong ability to connect with and understand young people has formed my pedagogical approach that I am excited to continue practicing at Columbia Academy.
