Step 1: Apply
An interview is required for all applicants. You shall make an appointment to meet with the Admissions Officer. Overseas applicants shall contact school and a video interview will be arranged. If the interview is successful, you will be asked to submit an Application Form Application Form and the Application Fee of $200 (non-refundable). The application form must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian, if the student is under 19, or by the student if he/she is 19 or over.
In addition, the following documents must be submitted:

- 2. A Copy of either the student’s Passport or his/her Canadian Birth Certificate.
- 3. Proof of Medical Insurance such as a copy of the BC Medicare Card or a private medical insurance policy.
- 4. A Custodianship Declaration, if the student is under 19 years old, as required by Immigration Canada.
Step 2: Letter of Acceptance
After reviewing the student’s application documents, Columbia Academy will send a conditional letter of acceptance to the qualified student.
Step 3: Tuition Fee Payment
After receiving the conditional letter of acceptance, submit the indicated tuition fee.
Step 4: Apply for visa
Columbia Academy will issue a receipt for the tuition fee, which an International Student can use to apply for a student visa.
Step 5: English Placement Exam
When the student arrives at Columbia Academy, he/she will write the English Placement Exam. The student will make course selections based on both the exam’s results and his/her previous academic standing.
